Hey Deta's Logs fans !
As promised, I'm here on this special day to tease you all what's coming for 1.1.5 - Part 2 AND more !!!
Let's do things in order, shall we ?
And buckle up, there's a LOT to go over

The Scenes !

So far, I can confirm that 3 scenes will be released for Part 2, those scenes will be/will include !
- Broken Rules [Deta, Tyrix, Orean & more]
- Negotiation [Doc M3T, Etsu]
- Sudden Halt (WIP name) [Etsu, Cell & much more]Expect a LOT of new information being given to you, since many of those scenes will go into much deeper details about the background of some characters as well as the general world-building !
Cell will also make a stronger return in the third scene of the update, so prepare for the worstHere are some ACTUAL teasers for Broken Rules (2 of 'em even) and Negotiation respectively !
Keep in mind that everything shown here is currently a WIP, and can change before the release

The World-Building

As you might read here, the world-building of Deta's Logs will be HEAVILY expanded upon !
For Chapter 1, things will still remain pretty blurry on some ends to keep the focus of both the content and the development of that chapter focused on its theme, but I have plans to MASSIVELY scale up the universe that Deta's Logs is centered upon starting the development of Chapter 2This includes :
- The organizations/companies that various characters are related to, and/or the civilizations they originate from
- The Timeline of Deta's Logs, and the various major events that took place before the story has happened, such as major conflicts, technological advances, accomplishments the Protogen species has made... and even where/when it all started in the first place
- The countless various locations that will be visited, the planets, moons and other astrological aspects of the galaxy Deta's Logs is in, hell, maybe even the galaxies that inhabit the Super-Cluster that is Hyperion, a real Proto-SuperCluster that will be adapted and expanded on to house everything within the Deta's Logs universe !All of that will be accompanied with a lot of ideas, concepts and visual representations of the alien species, the planet landscapes, and even that astrological structure of the planets and galaxies that will take importance in Deta's Logs !
Know that many of those things won't just be cool things to know and be forgotten in the dust, but will have dedicated content that I have planned, may it be scenes, entries, and even some more unique extras

The Art

Can't do a Deta's Logs update without some art, can we ?
For now, the art side of the project is somewhat small, as things still needs to be organized and more importantly... I need to finish Chapter 1 at least
HOWEVER, there is some stuff that are currently being worked on !- Jaxton Ref Sheet !
Yeah, I know, I'm feeding the fans of Exodus even more, but trust me, the design is gonna be really worth it !
Here is an early concept of Jaxton's whole design soon after the completion of the GRIEF artwork
Laffien is really hard at work making something that is REALLY COOL AND UNIQUE, with some aspects of it having taken us a LOT of time, I'm sure Laffien will agree with me LOL

Can't give the name just yet, but know that it's the third character planned for Chapter 2, one that will have a strong and pretty consistent implication to Deta's Logs Season 1 even after Chapter 2
While I don't wanna show much of the design just yet and really keep the design secret until it's ready to be shown, but I can still show you guys like... two limbs ?
Trust me, ????? design makes sense, and Wezzen and I are makin' sure there will be more content for 'em as well !
- Deta's Revamp Ref Sheet !
Now I know, I know, it's been FOREVER, and there's still no update on this !
Deta's revamp ref sheet has gone through probably some of the most amount of dev complications out of ANY characters I'VE EVER MADE, and to be quite honest, there's a lot of reason as to why and how it happens... BUT DON'T BE FOOLED, IT'S NOT CANNED !
It WILL take a while to come out, and I cannot give a release date even if I wanted to, but know that progress has been done, and you all WILL see him in his full light eventually !
As a treat for waiting so long for that, here's a pretty early concept of his revamp
This is ALSO a WIP, and is pretty likely to change in some aspects before releaseThere is more planned for the art side, including some of it being worked on as I'm talking right now, but you guys will see what will come around the corner !

The Future of Deta's Logs

Well, the future is slow to come, but bright, as there is a LOT of plans that I have for this project, some of which I wanna talk publiclyFirst of all, I'm gettin' the elephant out of the damn room :
- Deta's Logs is planned to fully be exported into its own custom website.
Not a joke, not a drill, I am dead set on this and has been for over a year now
It has always bothered me that this project I hold so dear to my heart be hosted on a damn Google documentation website now cluttered with AI scanning forced down my throat, page limitations everywhere, and a horrible lack of immersion possible, as well as tabs pilling up for each and every scene, a google drive size limit that hangs over my neck, lack of confirmed cyber-security for my work if I don't pay my paycheck for premium...
SO I'M DONE !
I'm done, I'm tired with Google Docs, and I want to move EVERYTHING I own away from it
Once Chapter 1 is fully released and concluded, I will be searching for a few people capable of creating a website with its own domain, with web-designing in mind and more, all so that Deta's Logs can exist within its own place, and have it's own custom themes !
That means that only will many limitations be dropped, allowing for a LOT more customization and QoL, but it will also allow me to see bigger, and start conceptualize and organize really cool stuff such as an OST to listen to, settings for people with issues reading texts, and a TON of art and have it actually fit in !
Keep in mind, this will take a while to be done, maybe even longer than I envision right now, but this WILL happen, no matter what.Next up is the obvious one here :
- Chapter 2 & Beyond
I swear each chapter isn't gonna take like 2 years and a half each just PLEASE TRUST ME ;-; </3 D:
More seriously, Chapter 2 is planned more or less the same amount of scenes as Chapter 1, as the new characters will be really important for the future of Deta's Logs as a whole (trust me, you will see them a LOT)
As for Chapter 3, 4 & 5, they will be less character introduction & interaction and a lot more plot importance driven, meaning they will supposedly have a bit less scenes (between 10 and 15), but in return have a lot more importance for the plot, especially since those chapters will all be inter-connected to the general plot and especially threat of the Season
And y'all better buckle up, because it will take a lot more than the "power of friendship" for the characters to be victorious at the end and conquer their fears.Speaking of content :
- The Bonus Content

As a matter of fact, what y'all just saw is all but a GLIMPSE of what I have planned !
Not only do I plan to make Entries for each and every prominent character of Deta's Logs, with some of them even having multiple of them (you'll see why when it happens), but Entries are not the only thing that are in the list !
You might have guessed it with the "Character Logs" being transformed into "Extras", but I plan of doing other different types of bonus content, ranging from Scenes that happen between Chapters/Seasons, world-building documents, more event submissions for the project, and even some things that I can't tell you at all, but that you will soon have to discover by yourself...

WOW, that "teaser" was significantly longer than I had anticipated, huh
To be honest, I added more than what was planned because I really wanted you all to have something worth reading through, it's the first year I haven't posted any new content for my birthday, so I had to make it up for thatI want to thank each and everyone of you for reading this through to the end, you caring about this project is what has kept it alive despite the delays and even some development hell, and seeing the team and contributors behind it only grow in numbers really gives me hope that this project can be as ambitious as I imagine it to be
